The Backgrounder

S.Daulat Singh (1887-1971) had roaring financial business in Lahore (Present Pakistan) in pre-partition days. However, with the partition of India during in 1947 his family lost everything they possessed. Yet, S.Daulat Singh with his son S.Inder Singh in 1951, started book- binding business with Twenty-Five paise as capital investment! Operating from the small shop in Amritsar adjoining to the famous Golden Temple, he made his bench mark as he excelled in binding ‘Gurbani’ books to enthuse the state of the art in the sacred city. However, in 1976 the grandson of S.Daulat Singh and worthy son of S.Inder Singh – S.Hamrit Singh took the pioneering steps added flavours of modern world as he cultured ‘Black Paper’ albums. He went to Singapore to adopt the new technology of Albums manufacturing and installed a leadership in the fields of ‘Photo Albums’ and ‘Frames’ Since then the family based company expanded to touch newer heights everyday. Today the next generation S.Bikram Singh S/o S.Harmit Singh has undergone the international training of ISO 9004 and implementing the standards required for the international market.
